Wishing Eric a Fond Farewell
We’re sad to say goodbye to our bass guitarist, Eric Latham, who will be leaving Irene & Reed for his next big adventure.
A native of the Midwest, Eric has been playing the bass in the Indianapolis, Ind., area for more than a decade. The studio musician and live showman’s experience has included playing across a variety of musical genres, including jazz, reggae, rock, blues, folk, and R&B.
We have really enjoyed his melodic and soulful playing style, as he has provided our humble band with exceptional rhythm support. Although he will no longer be playing live with us, fans can look forward to hearing Eric’s bass on our second (upcoming) album, Struggle, Strength, Reclamation, which will be released later this year.
Eric, we wish you the best of luck! Thanks for making the past year so awesome!
